Care Instructions
Caring for your wares
To ensure the longevity of your ceramic products, we recommend the following:
- Oven Use: It is best to avoid putting ceramic pieces in the oven entirely. While some may withstand occasional heating, continuous exposure to high temperatures can increase the risk of cracking or failure. Our dinnerware is only suitable for use in the oven at low temperatures, such as for keeping a dish warm at or below 200 degrees Fahrenheit. However, it is not intended for baking.
- Microwaving: While microwaving ceramic ware is generally safe, we advise against excessive use. Rapid changes in temperature, especially from hot to cold, should be minimized to prevent potential damage.
- Dishwasher Safety: Our ceramic ware is made with durability in mind but due to the raw clay surfaces it is not water absorption resistant. To maintain its quality, hand washing is recommended. If not avoidable, use mindfulness around overcrowding the dishwasher and use a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
- Cutlery marks: some flatware may leave marks on our white glaze. If this happens, you can restore the surface by gently buffing it with a product like Bar Keepers Friend to return it to its original condition.
